How To Fix Muffled/Poor Quality Audio Using Cubase 12

Hi Guys,

I came across this video on YouTube showing how to fix audio in Audacity. I am wondering how we would do this is Cubase? Here is the link to the video.

Use Direct Offline Processing. Click the Process button to select one of the built-in functions.

But this method you posted is very convoluted and will almost always end up sounding weird. Most of the time you just need to use EQ. It’s also far simpler to just use Quadrafuzz v2 as an insert effect to distort the higher frequency bands, which generates new harmonics. An ancient trick.

If your recordings consistently sound muffled, I would recommend getting a new mic
