Not sure why I can’t get the last 4 bars of this to go on the 1st page. Looks like there is plenty of room. What am I missing?

Using Engrave to move the staves on page one closer together only makes visual room. Dorico still thinks the page is full. (It may suppose you planned to add a large text block or graphic.
The way to bring the staves closer together is to get rid of the manual adjustments in Engrave (click/CTRL-Click on each red box and press Delete to turn them blue again) and adjust the Vertical Spacing in Layout Options.

Hi @salc,
adding to the useful suggestion by @Derrek,
you can also do (menu) Engrave > Staff spacing > Reset layout to reset all the red squares (overrides) at once .

Just to clarify @Derrek and @Christian_R 's comments…
All these red lines show you have been manually playing around (dragging staves?)…
Just let Dorico do its stuff and these problems will disappear.
