I just downloaded HALion Sonic SE 3, but can’t find any content for it.
Examples are the Basic Set (with stuff like Acid Junkies or Hop Hip Bass), Hybrid Set, Pro Set, etc.
There is no factory content for the free HALion Sonic SE download. This free version is made available for those who own paid HALion content and/or want to use free third-party HALion content.
The content sets you mention are bundled with Cubase and Nuendo, also they are part of the full HALion Sonic 3 and HALion 6 products. They will only work if you have a licence for one of these products. (Note that HALion Sonic SE Artist will not work with a Cubase Elements licence and HALion Sonic SE Pro will not work with a Cubase Elements or Cubase Artist licence).
If you have a licence for HALion 6 or Absolute 3 or 4, install HALion 6 including all the content. HALion Sonic 3 is installed alongside HALion 6. Your licence should activate the HALion Sonic SE sets for use in HALion Sonic SE 3.
If you have a licence for HALion Sonic 3, install HALion Sonic 3 including all the content. Your licence should activate the HALion Sonic SE sets for use in HALion Sonic SE 3.
If you have a licence for Cubase or Nuendo, use the full installer (version 10.5 or under) or the “HALion Sonic SE 3 - Content” download (version 11) to install this content.
I have finally got a licence for HALion Sonic 3, however, I can still not find the content from Basic Set, Hybrid Set, Trip Set, etc. Are they hidden away in a menu? Or do they not come with my version or something like that?
