How do you get the HALion Factory content to feature on my HALion Sonic Library page alongside the HALion Sonic Factory content?
When you look at the names it seams that it is sorting by alphabet.
strange that Haliontron commes after HS SE Basic.
Only Halion is able to load the HAL Factory library. It’s incompatible with Halion Sonic.
This library includes the old Halion-exclusive content originally included with Halion 4. It features various programs that demonstrate what can be done with Halion without any scripting, such as Round Robin samples and the MegaTrig, which can be used to create highly expressive instruments.
This library will not function in Halion Sonic since HS only allows Programs with up to four “top” Layers. Some of the Programs in this library use more than that.
Okay then. This is honestly more complex for me than I thought. I had recently purchased the full version of HALion 7 just today, so how do you get the HALion 4 Factory Content?
Yes indeed, it is this section.
when you load 1 instrument in 1 midi channel, then in HALION SONIC you can load 4 layers from other instruments.
if other programs have more layers, then Sonic can not load that.

You can see that in your Steinberg download Assistent.
did you use Steinberg download Assistent before?

I used it before, and the content was already downloaded before I bought it. Just need to get access to the full version instead of HALion Sonic.

Please run the Steinberg Library Manager and check if the “HALion 4 Factory Content” library is installed. If you click the DETAILS button to the right, you should see that the HALion Presets 01 file has a v2 to the left of the file size.
If this library is missing or if the Presets file is only v1, run the Steinberg Download Manager, look for Halion 7 under “My product downloads”, and download the “Content HALion 7” file. This should install any missing factory libraries, and will also update the currently installed ones if necessary.
Well, I did what you said, I checked that I had the library in the Library Manager, made sure it was V2, re-downloaded the HALion 7 content, and it STILL won’t show up in my Instrument selection.
