How to get license for older OSX 10.13 w Wavelab pro 9.5?
How can i buy or get a licenses to run Wavelab pro 9.5 on my mac. I have a mac pro 2012. protools 2024 but i need wavelab and w OSX 10.13 I can’t use the latest one.
As mentioned in your other thread:
You need to get a USB-eLicenser. WL 9.5 will not run without an authorized USB-e:icenser.
EDIT: check with Steinberg to find out if you have a USB-eLicenser and buy the current version of WL, will that also allow you to authorize 9.5.
As already mentioned, if you want to go ahead with this do so without delay as support and authorization for the USB-eLicenser is ending early 2025.

I don’t think so. The first WaveLab version supporting the new(ish) Steinberg licensing was 11.2. If you purchase the current version fresh, you only have access to 11.2 and forward. The only way to use a previous version is if you have a license on the USB-eLicenser.
You might try searching the used market for someone selling an old license including the USB-eLicenser. Purchase at your own risk, though. There are a lot of scammers out there.
