How to hide chords for rhythm section part only during rests

Hi,
As seen below, this bass guitar part has piano chords above measures where the player rests that I don’t want to be visible on the part.

If I right-click the bass guitar player in setup mode to hide chords for all instruments, I can’t see chords above its slash regions.

I’m sure there’s an easy fix to this that I overlooked.

Hey moore.grace,

there is an option for „show chord symbols only in slash regions“.

As far as I know there is no automatic solution for „hide chord symbols in empty bars“.

I would edit the (bass) instrument in Setup Mode not to be defined as a Rhythm section instrument, then add Chord Symbol regions in the measures where you need them.
