How to hide jump bar

So I typed J to show the jump bar to start learning it. But if I don’t type any command, how can you the hide it? I can’t find any way except to close the project. I know this is a sort of obscure corner case as one would normally invoke it to actually do something.

Pressing “Esc” key works for me…

Thanks all. Both work for me, now. I think something was just clagged up temporarily. These things can happen.
