Hi,
I keep tweaking the appearance of chord symbols, and since they need to be done individually for the most part, I am slowly building a library of my customisations over the span of a few months and over different projects.
Is there a way to make sure that this “bank” of customisations show up “globally” each time I start a new project? Because at the moment if I start a new score no customisation is present and I have to import it from another project, which can be fiddly at times if I don’t want to import other aspects of the score and only want to preserve the chord symbols customisation.
Thanks

If you click the star button at the bottom of that list, for each alteration, it should save the alteration as a user default which will be available in all new projects.

I’ve never quite understood how that applies if I use the file-new from project template to open a template I created prior to making new default settings. Will any default changes I made after creating the template be reflected in opening that template? Or does it mean that only if I start with a blank project (either file->new or the Create New blank project from the hub) will the default changes be applied?
It looks to me like user defaults are applied to a project on top of whatever is saved in the template.
It would be helpful to have confirmation of this from the devs.

Thanks everyone
It would also be helpful if this was automatic rather than having to manually hit the star button, or if there was a global setting that deals with it as an option somewhere.

I think that’s right: projects created from a user template will contain both the library entities from the template and those from the user library (our ref: STEAM-11149/STEAM-11830).
