I am using WaveLab Pro 12 and overtime I customised my window layout, or workspace if you will.
I have it saved. Now I upgraded to WL 13 and …. How the heck do I load my custom layout?
There are options to save a workspace/layout, or customise it or save as default or managed it but no option to load it.
Am I blind or looking in a wrong menu?
When running WaveLab 13 for the first time, did you choose the option to import your settings?
Because if you do, your workspace layout should be there.
If not, you can still copy the old settings. While WaveLab is not running, copy this folder:
\WaveLab Pro 12\Presets\WindowLayout4
to
\WaveLab Pro 13\Presets\WindowLayout4
Apparently that does not always happen.
Mine imported all WL12 settings but it remained with the Default Layout.
Solution was simple though:
>Workspace >Layout >selected one of my Preset Layouts as they were imported (but not activated).
It did ask me if I want to import my WL12 settings but it launched with standard layout.
Copying the files solved the issue but this is very awkward solution.
