How to make automation drawing ramp instead of step in arrangement

hey guys,

in the midi cc lanes, when I add points with the draw tool, it smoothly ramps from the previous point instead of stepping up, which this works because i can choose ramp or step under type of new controller events in the key editor.

but in the automation lanes in the arrangement, when i add points with the draw tool, it always steps up instead of ramping. i can’t find an option to change this like in the key editor. is there a way to make automation points ramp by default instead of stepping, just similar to how it can be done in the midi/cc editor?

Hi,

If you use the Draw tool, you click to insert an automation node and then move it up/down, you get a ramp.

If you make the Lasso selection or the Range Selection and then you use the editing nodes (Scale Vertical, Move Vertical, Scale Around Absolute Center, Tilt Left, Tilt Right, …), this will create an automation nodes and it will make steps.
