How to make items stay in position regardless of tempo chang

If I’m scoring for a film, I’ve done the spotting. Now there’s a small change in the video and things need to be shifted around.

To accomodate this, I want to move back/forth the tempo change in the tempo track BUT I want all my items to stay put. How do I do this? Toggling linear mode for the track doesn’t seem to do this. It still seems to move the items.

Basically lets say items were in bar 9 before tempo change. Now I move the tempo change and as a result the items should be in bar 11 so the audio still remains unchanged.

Change the time Base of the track(s).

If you want to keep the start of the events at the same time position, set it to the Musical Timebase. If you want to keep the start of the events at the same timecode position, set it to the Linear Timebase.

Change it via the Note/Clock button in the track controls.
