I’d love to know how to design an arrow of a single, set length like this. (Similar to what would have been in an expression in Finale.)
Would also be great it if didn’t have to be attached to a note, since sometimes it needs to go above a measure with no notes.
It’s specifically for this purpose, to indicate a jump in measure numbers.
Hi @NathanBrooklyn, you can create it using System Text, then in the text editor right click and click on Insert Music text, search for arrow, choose one. Then you can change its size in the text editor:
In Full score, with the Engrave mode properties panel set to Globally, deactivate Avoid collision and position it using the Common Offset:
Switch to a part layout, and with the properties panel set to Locally, adjust the Per staff offset:
Alternatively you could integrate it in the rehearsal mark, using a prefix:
