How to make the green play line run smoothly?

Hi all,
How can I make the green play line move smoothly? - it is jerky at the moment.

The playhead jumps from position to position, and does not scroll smoothly. There are no settings for this in the application.

Vote to have option for smooth playback line movement. I find it unnecessarily distracting. Thanks

Dorico currently advances the playhead once per 8th note. However, it is possible to give the illusion that the playhead is advancing once per 16th note or even once per 32nd note. Playback as it plays in the Finale

If you turn on the signposts by executing View > Signposts > Hide Signposts, you can see the hidden items which give the illusion of smoother playhead motion in the second and third flows. The tempos in the three flows are dotted quarter=60, dotted half=60 and dotted whole=60, so each repetition has a tempo which is twice as fast as the previous flow.
