How to make wedges (lines) align vertically correct?

The question is all in title. Here is an image from my project:

It is quite annoying the wegdes do not behave «as a group». If I in engrave mode adjust them up/down, they will not align correctly either, just barely above/below. How to make these adjustment so they will align?

I would consider creating a custom line (or several):

Would that work for you?

It is quite possible though to make them aligned in engrave mode, but you would have to use the most fine grain modifiers for moving them, which is on Windows ctrl+shift+alt+arrow. At least this worked for me, try it out.

Thank you for trying to help. This alternative works only if I

a) override one of the existing wedges, because I am not allowed(!) to create new selectable wedge-lines (why is this @dspreadbury ?)
and
b) just want the wedges to always be symmetrical horizontally. Which is not always the case for me.

Any other suggestions as to how make help me out here? I am working on a score (as always) with a lot of custom instruments and notation, and this wedge challenge I really need to find a solution to.

I made one for you, will this work?

It is indeed possible:

There is unfortunately no command to align lines (nor Tempo markings), so I guess one workaround could be to use some extra zero-line staff (ossia or something) with the wedges, then they should align as there are no other music on that extra staff. But that is above my knowledge.

Thank you Jesper. I have made several of these. Problem is, these newly made wedges will not be selectable afterwards, when creating new lines - can only create what you have shown in the image, but this will not appear in the line body roll down menu. How did you do this?

Click the star to make them default. You could also copy/paste it from mine.
Or use the Library manager to import them.

Well, this might work, but it will be a bit cumbersome in practise. It will align the wedges perfectly though. Thanks for the thought/idea.

(a bit embarrassing) My eyes looked for the word «wedge», not symmetrical… Thanks!
