How to match the groove of a real drum track to the groove of a loop?

Just went from the ooooold 7.5 to 10:

Is there any way to to match the groove of a real drum track to the groove of a loop?

Yeah… Use Hitpoint detection. After that you can create a unique Quantise Groove. I use Ctrl Shift Q as the short cut to make what I have selected the Quantise Groove. Ctrl Q for the Quantise Menu instead of Quit.

We can even change the entire grid of the song to be the drum track, drummers timing and not a static grid. There’s a youtube video on it.

As you’re making the real drum track match the loop you can use VariAudio or after Hit Point detection, Create slices, now Quantise.
