Hi, I’m wondering is there any way to mute or decrease the volume of a stereo channel center. I want to hear it on the sides but not in the center. It may be a trick or plug-in, or maybe something else. Sorry for my bad English.
I think you would need to encode the stereo signal to Mid-Side using a plugin, do the adjustments there, then decode back to stereo.
There probably are free plugins for this. Check with Voxengo maybe?
If you’re looking for a Steinberg plugin then maybe “Imager” or “MonoToStereo” can do it with extreme settings.
