Hi Altogether
I have a Bass in Halion Sonic and I want to notate a slide from the 17. Fret on a Bass down to the 3. Fret and it should sound also the right way, I tried it with this
but I does not sound right
I notated it like this, but I would like to hear it also, does anyone know how to do this in Dorico 6 pro ?
Thank you very much

I think that does not depend on the Dorico version, but on the sound source, Halion Sonic in your case.
And I’m afraid you can’t, see this reply by Daniel on a similar question
The patches that come with HALion Sonic only support pitch bend over a range of two half-steps (semitones) so you’ll only get a continuous glissando if the interval between the first and last note is two half-steps or less. If you need a larger interval, you’ll need a different playback device.

IIRC NotePerformer will allow up to a 12-semitone slide.

To hear the slide from A to G a ninth below, there are three things that must be done:
Set the Playback type property of the glissando to Continuous.
In the expression map named Transpose up 1 octave, change the Pitch bend range to 14:
In the HALion Sonic VST, select the slot in which Electric Bass VX is loaded, show the Edit page, and change PB (Pitch Bend) DOWN to -14:

Wow ! many many thanks, that’s great !
I guess if this works it could also work for the VST Trilian from Spectrasonics
