how to open cubase project from file in WLE9 !

i perform cubase project export to wavelab elements 9(and also regolar export and imported to WLE9)
but the “open cubase project” is grayed in WLE .
i should this work ? need special file format to export from cubase ?

Hey,

please keep two things in mind:

  1. In the “Export Audio Mixdown” dialog there is an option called “Insert iXML chunk”. This must be checked!
  2. Before exporting the file you need to save the project

Short technical explanation: While exporting the WAV file Cubase stores the path to the project into the file. In case you did not save the project there is no path to be written.
