hello, i bought my cubase 2nd hand from someone years ago.
my dongle almost die soon and i wanted to work without it or even upgrade to a new version but i dont see my Cubase pordact on the site any more and just my Licensed Devices numbers. so im having difficulty do understand if im able to upgrade or i have some problems with it. and if so, how can i pass my dongle and work without it?
would really appriciate the help

You need to update to the current Cubase 15, which is not using the eLicenser technology anymore.
If you can see the licence in your MySteinberg account, it’s OK. Is it the case?
you could try to add your dongle to your account by pressing the + Register eLicenser
if you have a dongle in your account the icon will be a usb memory stick like below. Once you have your dongle in your account you just need to buy the correct update. you would want to buy the Cubase 15 upgrade from (pick your current version)
Thank you, ive try that and enter my Dongle Serial and it tells me that its already connected to another user (the guy i bought it from i guess) .
is that mean i have to buy Cubase again and won’t have the option to upgrade?
or if i have the dongle i have some claim?
