How to print with a shortcut key

Hi, I have a quick dumb question:
When I need to print, I just hit ⌘+P on my Mac for the last 38 years. In Dorico, ⌘+5 and ⌘+P do the exact same thing, which is pretty weird, especially since Dorico advertises for shortcut operations.

Is there any way to print without grabbing my mouse and moving my pointer to the bottom left corner? If not, I will create a Macro, I guess.

It might be worth exploring the key command choices in Preferences:

Hi @DanielMuzMurray
Thank you so much for your response. I tried your suggestion. Unfortunately, this one prints without the macOS Print Dialog window, which is troublesome. I searched for “System Dialogs:” but to no avail.

I guess Print mode is the print dialog.

In general, using the OS print dialog in the lower left corner is not the optimal route in Dorico. Using the Destination: Printer/Graphics buttons on the top right is recommended, as those make better use of Dorico’s powerful graphic and organisational abilities. Once you make the settings in the RH column, they’re remembered (for each layout).

Thank you so much for your responses.
Not sure how the RH column options are better than OS print dialog window (I have presets saved for macOS printing but Dorico doesn’t seem to let user save print presets), but is there shortcut for engaging [Print] at the right bottom corner?

The reason is because with the system dialogue, the system is assembling the print data, whereas with dorico’s own print dialogue, DORICO is the one generating the image. In the past, users have experienced anomalies and graphical errors when trying to use macOS to do the exporting, for whatever reason.

If the Print/Export button could be activated with the Enter key, that would prevent the hardship of having to move the mouse.

I agree that would be a nice feature request.
