Add barlines before the first barline by selecting the first beat, pressing shift + b and typing 1.
Does “key” mean key signature? shift + k and c for C minor.
I have no idea about that blank page situation, you probably have a system break “salto de sistema” affecting it.
The two parallel thick lines at the left are the percussion clef, not a key signature. Typically they go before (left of) the opening repeat barline (measure/bar 10), so it is showing as correct as it is.
Yes, sorry I meant the Clef.
Well, I guess is accepted both ways, that’s how I was teachen and how I’m used to do it with Finale, so I found weird to have the clef outside the bars.
Thanks.
Thanks Maarten. That worked, but how can I make the carlines to behave like the precedent one?
I mean, if I closed a double line bar, next one should be double too. I can’t find how to do it. Sorry for this questions, I’m finding it too much different than Finale and I’m goin’ bit crazy
I don’t know how to do this. Maybe manually the way @Sergei_Mozart describes.
This setting to have barlines at the beginning of the system was later implemented in Dorico because mainly Lead Sheet makers asked for it. In combination with leaving out the clef and key. In general it is considered as not so correct notation I think. So the double barline at the beginning is also not common, but I personally don’t have the knowledge to furthermore comment on that. @dspreadbury So if it is not possible there is maybe reason for feature request.
@YourMusic.Pro you see the double barline at the beginning of a system in the real books of Sher Music.
