Hahaha, that sounds about right. Sorry to hear.
Here is the reason why you don’t hear some things: The channels are not routed to anything.
They should be routed to the output busses that I advised creating in one of my earlier replies.

Let me get on that now and get back to you.
I tried to set up the proper ins and outs and still no input to audio track.
Heres a pic attached.
New update; I did not have the device output ports set accordingly, Stereo 1-2, 3-4 and so on. They were all set to output 1-2. Now I see input going into the interface channels. 1 down. 1 more to go . next issue is , I don’t see it going into the audio track I’ve selected even though I have the monitor icon pressed and highlighted. and I’m not hearing the instruments themselves being monitored. I do have the input channels corresponding to that of the output channels. Not sure if this might be my last message to be sent until another 13 hrs. crazy that as a new member they have these restrictions when in need of assistance.I do see the output channels working in Cubase. Just no input to audio tracks selected.
I found the answer to the last issue of not getting audio into to Audio Tracks. Here below is the links to the answer. You have to go to sys pref on mac, then to security and privacy…Click on microphone in the left hand menu box, then scroll down to Cubase 13 and check that box. Issue Solved.
Man what a journey. We know what we gotta do to make things work… Persevere. Thanks JM. Much appreciated.
