I do a lot of multiple takes of vocal & guitar recordings on several tracks. How are the audio files, I do not use anymore in a project, handled in cubasis? The project-folder storage space is getting bigger and bigger!? Auria Pro has a „clean up“ function to delete all unused files. Cubase and Logic have this function since decades. I could not find anything about this issue, does anybody knows how cubasis handle this?
One way is to check the trash as audio events that are removed from the time-line and/or aren’t being used elsewhere in the project end up in the trash.
Clear undo-history, this will also move unused files and eventual temporary audio files to the trash so they can be deleted.
(After clearing the undo history and restart Cubasis or load another project and after that empty the trash).
I agree this process could be streamlined, this is something @LSlowak and his team could take a look at at some point.
