I only wanted to install a single plugin from Universal Audio (UAD), but before I could intervene, practically all the plugins from UAD were installed. Apparently, this is common with UAD, there is no way to install or uninstall just one plugin. Or am I mistaken? I don’t find this very convenient from UAD. I’ve disabled all other plugins in WaveLab for now, but the hard drive is unnecessarily full.
It’s somewhat difficult to find the corresponding folder, but I think you can simply delete the plugins from the appropriate folder?
Maybe someone has had the same situation and deleted the unused plugins as well? I would be very grateful if someone could tell me the corresponding folder(s) to delete everything. I hope they are all stored in the same location. Thank you in advance. I am using Windows 10 and WaveLab 12 Pro.

I have never had your problem.
Maybe you installed the Subscription mode instead of the one time purchase ( or whatever it is called )

Hello Stefano7
here are the location of the UA-VST-Plugins if you work on Windows:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\Universal Audio
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Universal Audio
VST3-Plugins C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Universal Audio
Hope that helps

Thank you very much. I have noticed that all the plugins that were installed are those that require hardware. However, I only wanted the native version. The installation is only done via UA Connect, and I didn’t see any way how to install only the native version. It’s not a big deal, I can delete them using the links provided by @HomePlayer , that should work. Thanks again.
Thank you very much. Yes, that helps.
All you needed to do is install UA Connect and leave the UAD software off the machine. There is no need for the UAD installer if you do not care about the hardware based plugins.

Hi, and thank you for your response. I think the hardware part confused me at first since I hadn’t used UAD before, I was installing it too quickly. What you said is exactly what I did then. Everything is great, and thanks again.
You could try the app Plugin Mate if you’re on Windows.
I’m on Mac and use Plugin Cleaner.
These apps hide all of the UAD apps that are in demo mode/not paid for.
