Hello!
I have removed by chance a preset from the list from the Equalizers presets. How can I restore it? Thank you so much for any tips!!!
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Was it one is the factory presets or your custom one? Did you use the (unchanged) preset at any project already?
Thank you!
It was a factory preset. I was using it for the first time in the project, I didn´t use it before. The project was open, I first set this preset, then I decided to try another one and so by chance I removed this one which I set in a project track. Do you think it is possible to restore it?
Hi,
You can use the Mixer History in the MixConsole window.
Hi @Martin.Jirsak I have the same issue but with a Staff Preset. Unfortunately I’d closed the project before I realised, so the Mixer History is gone. Is there any way to restore in this instance? Many thanks.
If it’s a stock preset, one of us can prob save a copy for you. What was it called?
Thanks @Kearley - it was still in the hard drive folder but not showing in the presets.
I found a way to restore it, you have to use RUN then type %appdata% and compare the contents of the Steinberg / presets folder(s) there to the same folder going through standard File Explorer.
If anyone needs a better explanation let me know and I’ll link the video
