I cannot figure out how to set up the result columns in Halion (and also in Retrologue, Groove Agent and Padshop) so they stay this way no matter which project I do load.
There is only the option “reset to defaults” available, but no way to save my own default/template.
I wasn’t able to figure out what influences the setting of these columns - for me they behave more or less “randomly” - sometimes they seem to remember my last settings, sometimes they just jump back to some older setting or the default.
Deoes anybody know a way to set them permanently or at least what affects the configuration? Is this setting stored together with projects or project templates in Cubase? Is it affected by the Media Bay in some way?
I figured it out. There are buttons and a selection drop-down menu in the top right of the “load panel” (“browser”). There you can save and load your own presets for the load panel. It’s called “Preset controls” in the documentation.
Each VST (Retrologue, Padshop, Groove Agent, …) seems to have it’s own set of presets there.
The only thing I couldn’t figure out is how you can change the default preset that is loaded on each new instance.
