How to Split Midi Piano into 2 tracks for each hand?

Hello!
I would like to be able to split a piano (MIDI) track into two tracks after recording, so that I can set a range for the left hand and a range for the right hand. I’m thinking it could be done by duplicating the track and then setting Cubase so that notes beyond a certain pitch don’t play.

I would like to do this as quickly as possible, so I can have more control over the piano and make various adjustments to volume and other processing.
How could I do this? I assume it could be done with Project Logical Editor or Input Transformer, but I’m not exactly sure how to set it up to perform these actions.

I think you can use the MIDI Logical Editor for this, see the screenshot below which has a LE where you can set the middle note of the range. Call this after you select your MIDI part.
