How to tell if plugin version loaded is 32 or 64 bit?

Does anyone know of any way to determine whether the plug in version that Cubase is loading in is 32 or 64 bit?

Reason that I ask is that some of my plugins were 32 bit, and now 64 bit versions are available. When I install the 64 bit updates, I can’t remember if the original was installed in a scanned directory, or I had to move it to one of the standard VST Plugin directories.

When browsing through the vsti or plug list on a slot (instrument rack, send, insert or otherwise), a logo is displayed in front of the plugins name. This logo shows wether the plugin is vst2, vst3, and I believe you can also differentiate between 32 and 64 bit from that logo. Not entirely sure what to look for though, I never bothered to really figure that out.

x64 has no symbol. VST3 has 3 hashmarks. Bridged has 2 hash marks that are boxed in.

Ah cheers JM

Aloha J and thanks.

Thanks, all. As I suspected, some plugs that I thought were 64 bit, aren’t. Time to correct.
