Hello. I want to move the tenuto and staccato up while leaving the notes as they are. When I select tenuto, the entire note is selected, so when I press Flip, the note is flipped. I can’t find it in Edit > Filter. What category does *- . fall into?
Do it in Engrave mode. Select just the tenuto and press f (flip)

You can also set Always above under Library->Engraving Options->Articulations.
But that does not appear to work on chords.

Ah, it doesn’t work in Write mode. Thank you.
I think it can also be done in Write mode using the preferences bottom section. You highlight the note(s) and under articulations you can chose placement stem or notehead side.
