How to use the 16 input and 16 outputs in MR 816 CSX

Hi,

I have a MR 816CSX which features 16 inputs (8 analog , 8 digital) and 16 outputs along with built-in DSP.

  1. a) what could be a scenario to utilize all 16 inputs in a project?
    b) what would be the physical connections (Cable and ports )?
    c) What would be the settings on the MR hardware?
  2. a) what could be a scenario to utilize all 16 output in a project?
    b) what would be the physical connections (Cable and ports )?
    c) What would be the settings on the MR hardware?

I am sorry, I meant physical connections.

  1. I can plug-in 8 inputs by XLR. What about the other eight?
  2. For mixing purpose, I am still using 8 analog! say how can I use the next 8 eight-channel for surround 7.1 surround sound mixing?
