How to work on a hidden clip

I have a short clip which is on the same track as a larger clip which covers it. I cannot select this clip to work on it (e.g. to change the source file). Any suggestions - is there some obvious thing to do which I have missed?

double click on the lower part of the hidden clip, and it will be brought to the “front”.

Thanks! I thought there had to be a way, but my search in the Help failed to find it.
