HSO seems to need the elicencer plugged in a USB

I’ve just installed Cubase 13 on my laptop and it works without the elicencer plugged in (which is great) but all the HSO instruments are showing a no entry sign next to them unless I plug the elicencer in a USB port. So I seem to be back at the issue of having to take the elicencer with me and not loose the damn thing.

It seems that Olympus Choir Elements is doing the same thing.

I’ve checked out the Activation Manager and it offer me Cubase13 and Dorico but not HSO. Am I doing something wrong? How do I get HSO to licence the same as Cubase13?

Go to your “My Steinberg” account, log in, look for the Vouchers page, HSO should be listed there, follow the steps, carefully!
