I am thinking about buying a HT OMEGA Claro Halo PCI Sound Card to enhance my sound quality; it’s spendy, so I wondered if anyone on the forum has any experience with these two items working together?

Spendy? You think? Is this what you are talking about … ?
Hmmm … Don’t do it.
You would be much better off with a quality USB interface at that price point.
Maybe something along these lines …
thanks for your reply . . . thankfully, I didn’t buy the sound card yet. I have a sound issue on my windows 10 computer ever since I loaded my Cubase 8. I’ve tried everything i know to do…but it still sounds nothing like my other two computers (I have 3 computers in a “U” shape around me . . . My 27" screen Mac to my left, an 21" screen to my old XP in the center and a 27" screen to my windows 10 computer to my right. I am soooo disappointed in the Cubase 8 program; I can’t do much with it and the sound is terrible.
