It would be nice if the Hub were easier to read. I work on a large number of projects and finding the one I want in a hurry can be a challenge. I have two suggestions. 1) Put the directory location in a second column. I’m never looking for locations in the Hub. This way the song names will stand out without interference. 2) Make the Hub expandable. I would like to be able to cast my eyes over 20 or so song titles at a time without having to leaf back and forth through a half dozen or so. I am a 14 Pro user and love Cubase.
Please note that the hub underwent a redesign introduced with C15. You wrote that you use C14. Is you request based on observations of the new hub?
Yes, my comment refers to the Pro 14 version. Can you tell me, please, whether the newer version of the Hub does any of the following?
- Expandable window
- Open files with Enter key
- Sortable list by alphabet, date etc.
- Use of the PgUp and PgDn keys
If so, this might be enough to get my to upgrade. More important would be to know whether the newer version has corrected the failure to close issue. I’ve been waiting for this to be dealt with in updates of 14.
Freely resizable. You can even maximize it to fit the entire screen.
Yes. Even though there are different sections now (you can e.g. add a folder of your choice to the hub) and I couldn’t find a way to navigate between those sections. But Enter works like a double click.
Yes, you have these sorting options:
I don’t think this is working. Cursor up and down work, though.
Thank you, Johnny, for taking the time to reply to my questions. I have purchased Cubase 15. So far things are fine. The Hub is a definite improvement, although, as you say, it is hard to navigate sections.
