I bought Halion Sonic 3 less than a month ago: now Halion 6 is on sale at a cheaper price

Why is there no special upgrade path for people who, like me, bought a product very recently only to find one can buy the top end product at a cheaper price today?

Halion 6 is for sale at £210 today instead of the normal £300

I bought Halion Sonic 3 at the end of January, just a couple of weeks ago which cost me £214

There were warnings on the website such as “check back in a couple of weeks when you can buy this for 30% less” £149

If I want to upgrade to Halion 6 even with the current discount it is an extra £60 which would bring my total cost of owning Halion 6 to £274 which is £64 more than todays discount price.

Surely this is not right or fair on loyal customers?

If someone bought a full price product within two months of such a special offer they will, like me, feel extremely disappointed

What can Steinberg do to sort this out?
