When in pattern mode, the groups buttons above the pads are greyed out so I canot switch between them (in Instrument mode instead, I can see and activate eight groups). Is this a limitation of the SE version?
Some Kits only have a few patterns (the percussion one is often like this).
Try loading up some other kits?
I believe it is a limitation in SE Version(s). I just went through a handful of kits in 6se and it appears that only 1 patter group is available.
Yeah, this seems to be the case. I wanted to fill the pads of more than one pattern group with my own grooves, but as it doesnt let me activate the groups, I have to live with 16 patterns for now. But it looks like the new version 6 does not have this limitation, so as I will upgrade to cubase 15 pro soon, this issue will be solved for me then.
