I can't change track name

In Cubase 12 I could change the track name by double clicking the track but it doesn’t work in Cubase 15.
now I have to open the inspector menu every time I want to rename a track…
Is this my PC’s problem? if so how can I fix it?

I guess you mean double click the track name in one of the 4 mix consoles? In C15pro you should be able to do that.

You do not need to open the inspector. In the Cubase Arrange Page, double click a track in the Track List to change a track name.

What @Greg_Purkey said.

@ruellouch I assume you are talking about the name in the track header in the project window like Greg said, right?

Yes, that still works as as usual in Cubase 15 by double clicking on the name. I assume this has something to do with your system. Please, try to start Cubase with preferences disabled and see if this problem persists.

Launch Cubase, and hold down Ctrl/Cmd-Alt/Opt-Shift and pick the second option to start with program preferences disabled. It’s only temporary. If this solves your issue you can go back and save your customized settings before you revert back to factory defaults.

Ah, and welcome to the forum.

Ah thank you so much it works now!

Did you do anything in particular to solve the issue? This kind of info might help future users
