I can’t hide Cubase Pro 11 from the shortcut (Command+H), from menu bar and from Dock menu.
I can hide all of other applications. Only Cubase is not hided.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I had the same problem with Cubase 10.5 and the earliest versions of 11. After 11.0.20 the hide feature started working again. Bow today without warning I can no longer hide.
And did/does yours do this: When I Command H with Cubase up, the Cubase screen flashes away for an instant and then comes right back up. Only, it’s actually in the background because the mac “Finder” bar is now on top.
If you figured out why this is happening, please let me know. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of discussion about it.
Thanks
Just had this pop up this morning and spent a good deal of time troubleshooting it but didn’t find a solution. (Mac Pro (2019) with Catalina, Cubase Pro 11.0.41)
In our case it is linked to a particular project file, loading other project files the program Hides normally. Behavior is the same as outlined by subatomix1 but important to note that after trying to hide with cmd H the previously foreground program is displayed in the menu bar (we also thought it was specific to Finder).
We checked Key Commands and Keyboard Maestro to make sure there wasn’t a conflicting command present or running. Opened the file on another Mac and the issue didn’t happen.
Have not tried opening Cubase in Safe Mode, or using the Back Up Project feature.
Update: when I close the affected file and open another without closing the program the condition stays even though that file didn’t exhibit the behavior previously. Using the Back-Up Project feature did not help.
So we remembered this has happened before and traced it back to a Waves plugin! We updated CLA Epic and the problem went away
I’ve just purchased Cubase Pro 13. It’s wonderful. But the problem with Hide still persists. I can’t imagine that Steinberg isn’t aware of it, and hasn’t addressed and solved it yet.
I’ve been reading that it’s due to Waves, and/or due to other files, so I just opened a brand new project and, before even creating a track, tried to hide it; same problem!

I’d like to second this. I am having the same problem with Cubase 12 and 13. Empty or full projects, I am still unable to hide the program with ⌘H. With or without Waves (at least in Cubase 12), the sessions won’t hide. In Cubase 13 (for me) I am able to hide a fully empty session, but I agree with Remo that there must be something else going on. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
