When I try to install the an update for C12, by using SDA, after clicking on the icon opens the message - Sign in. (White letters on a red rectangle). I can only click on it. When clicked, it automatically opens Microsoft Edge (normally I don’t use Edge, but Chrome) and Steinberg website with email and password. After filling in the fields, clicking on “next” receives a message:
To authorize Steinberg Download Assistant, you must allow your browser to open Steinberg Download assistant. Once authorization is completed, you can close this page and continue working with steinberg download assistant. "
I don’t know what to do …
I have never had such problems before.
I have no idea how do I allow my browser to open SDA …

I find it utterly frustrating that when I search the internet for “how do you authorize Steinberg Download Assistant”, there are tons of topics on this, but no actual instructions!!!
Am I supposed to go into my browser’s settings and change something? Where? What am I looking for? Why is there absolutely nothing on this?!?
I see lots of people stating that they messed with a bunch of settings in their browsers, but NOT ONE SINGLE STATEMENT AS TO WHAT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!!!
