I can't reinstall cubase in my new macbook

i had been using a cubase LE 8 for my personal recording, and it was working fine, recently my computer crashed and i had to get a new one, now when i try to download it, it says no more support exists, can i reinstall it by any means, or is it not supported anymore ? Any support will be dearly appreciated, thank you in advance, God bless.

Hi,

Ask for the update to the latest Cubase LE 15 here. This update is for free and Cubase 15 is fully compatible with the current computers and systems.

thank you Martin, but how do i get cubase LE 15, and i am not being able to install le8, so how can i upgrade, please guide me , thank you immensely

Do what @Martin.Jirsak said in his reply. Add a request to the linked thread and you will get a license added to your Steinberg profile. With that license you can redeem and download Cubase LE 15 via the Download Assistant.

I just saw you already got a LE 12 license in 2022, did you ever install that? It is the first release using Steinberg Licensing.

Hi,

As far as I remember, Cubase 12 was not M processors compatible, so you have to start it in the Rosetta mode. This also means, macOS 27 will be the last one for you.

To be able to run Cubase natively, and to avoid the problems soon, I would recommend you to get the current version already (when you are on it anyway).

@meddoc, as you have a Cubase LE license for Steinberg Licensing, you can simply install Cubase LE 15 from the Steinberg Download Assistant. The license is generic and covers all releases from Cubase LE 12 to the current one.
