I can't save the new version of my project in Cubase Elements 11

I can’t save the new version of my project in Cubase Elements 11 - there’s some unnamed hardware error/issue. Here’s a screenshot of the error message:

If I can’t save it, I’ve lost a whole morning’s work. Can anyone shed any light on how I can rectify this?

Hi,

Make sure you have the permissions to write to the folder, please.

You could also try Save As or Backup Project.

Before doing anything else I would back up the project folder by copying it to a safe storage location, to save your audio files.

Then you might try to use Cubase’s backup project function and save it to a different storage device.

This error message could be referring to a dying hard drive or other storage device.
