Recently, I have been researching interactive music. For example, play guitar + pad during the day and piano + pad at night. The MIDI part of the pad is the same, and I hope to manage two versions of the music in two folder tracks within the same project.
So I hope there can be a track similar to a shortcut for instruments. When the MIDI of one instrument is changed, the MIDI change will also be synchronized in the other instrument track.
The usage method can be: right - click on the left side of the instrument track - create a shortcut instrument track.

I’m not sure, I undestand your feature-request. But if I do… Are you aveare of the Shared MIDI Parts? If you change a MIDI data of one of the shared MIDI Part, all other shared MIDI Parts follow.
