Hi Guys, I have the full version of GA 5 and after installing the latest Maintenance update (14.0.41) and Groove Agent and other updates via the download assistant when I try to launch GA 5 GA 6 opens by default for which I don’t have a license so it only leaves me GA 5 SE. Groove Agent 5 is showing as activated in Activation Manager.
Any ideas?
You have probably downloaded the full GA 6 version by accident. Groove Agent 6 SE is free but I am not sure if it’s running on Cubase 14.
I ran into a similar problem a couple of years ago. Try to deinstall Groove Agent 6 (you’ll find it as a separate app if you are on Windows) and reinstall Groove Agent 5 afterwards.
That should fix it.
Thanks for that however nothing I did helped and I just could not uninstall GA 6 so in the end I did a system restore to a week earlier and I was careful not to go near GA6 again and things are working fine now.
I would be concerned about this.
