I know the odds are low but it’s quite important for me,
I’m looking for a full version of cubase 5 x64 to download, in Steinberg legacy download site there is only cubase 5.5 that’s not good for me, i want earlier version,
I have a usb dongle with a valid key, i just need the full file..
Can anyone help pleaseee?

As far as I remember, 5.5 was a free update to 5 and worked with the same license on the eLicenser, so you should be able to install and run 5.5 just fine, no need for the 5 installer.

I second that. Cubase 5.5 was the last version before the x.5 versions became the new full versions til Cubase 11. That’s the reason why you don’t find Cubase 5.0 among the Steinberg legacy downloads.

I have all of the older, including 5.
I’ve occasionally had to grab things direct from the sb ftp server. Try there if you’re not seeing direct links from the sb legacy links.

I looked the ftp and there is only updates there, not full ver, but anyway that was a nice thought so thanks for that, maybe you have the iso or dvd that you can sell me?
Why do you want 5 and not 5.5? The full ISO for 5.5 can be found here …
As previously stated, a Cubase 5 license covers 5.5. I’m not getting what the difficulty is.

What @Scab_Pickens said and as an addition: You can open any Cubase 5 project in Cubase 5.5 - there are no compatability issues whatsoever.
