Kevin! So glad to hear new stuff from you here again! You write the best love songs! This place nearly died since you left, but it seems to be picking up again. First of all, I love your singing. Your mix sounds really clear and balanced to me. The kick in the beginning sounds a bit too loud, minor point. I think I heard a few bass notes that you might want to change, but nothing wrong. This one has a wonderful dynamic range.

Hi Kevin, I do like that sound. Clean and great use of dynamics as Leon said. My ears were yearning for a vocal harmony over the top of the chorus, to add further energy and especially lead you into the lead break.

What I was trying to say is that this could be an absolute winner of a song. It’s bloody good already! Of course, I know what it’s like to have worked so hard on something and then someone says that a tweak here or there will make a difference. And, it’s true but by that time you have had enough and want to move on. So, my thoughts are based on the assumption you are ready to do more. In any case, I wish you well.
