I think it's kind of unfair to replace Halion Sonic 3 (paid) with Halion Sonic 7(free)

I think it’s unfair and doesn’t make sense to replace Halion Sonic 3 (which is a paid vst) with Halion Sonic 7 (which is a free vst that comes with Cubase).

Cubase installs with Groove Agent 5 SE and Halion Sonic 3 SE, these are free vst.

I have purchased Groove Agent 5 and also Halion Sonic 3 for a better experience and obviously as an upgrade. Groove Agent 5 was migrated to the new licensing system but it seems like Halion Sonic 3 wasn’t.

So owners of Halion Sonic 3 have to upgrade to Halion Sonic 7 Collection for €99,99, which does not make a difference in the content and instruments you get because it’s essentially the same thing but you must pay if you want to migrate to the new licensing system.

The new licensing system is placing owners of Halion Sonic 3 at a disadvantage in this case.

Staying on the USB e licencer system is a risk because if the dongle ever gets damaged or lost, I will lose my Halion Sonic 3 licence and can never recover it.

I am appealing to Steinberg to allow owners of Halion Sonic 3 to upgrade, for free, to the Halion Sonic 7 Collection. We will not gain any new or more content and instruments than we already have. We will only be migrating to the new licensing system

Please, please, please

And Tales Guitar?

And Tales as well wow. I checked the individual prices for Tales and FM Lab, and I think the price for the upgrade is not so bad afterall.
