I want to create a beep at 1000 Hz and -18 dbfs with Cubase and I don’t see how. In Pro tools, I have the Signal Generator that allows me to do exactly that. In Cubase, there must be the equivalent but I can’t find it. Thanks for your help.

there is a test generator vst - should be in the tools section of steinbergs plugins.

I had the same need a month ago. Good to know about Test Generator vst.
My workaround then was wavtones.com; however, free wavefile downloads limited to 5s lengths. I needed longer so I used Cubase to copy/paste and extend them to 60s.
