I highlighted the area and pushed delete as I always have done in the past but WL 12 and 13 would not remove the pause. It did something but it did not remove the pause. I had to use WL 9.5 to remove the pause. Any ideas???
Windows 10 all updates. WL 13.30.

I just tried this: wav file 32f 96 kHz opened in audio editor
Selected a section and hit ‘delete’
Worked exactly as it should.
Last version of Windoze 10 and WL 13.0.20
I tried it in both WL 13 and WL 12 and NOTHING. The screen flashed but nothing changed. I closed both WLs and reopened them to check to see if they were having some problems. I will see what happens today. Of course this was an attended session. Thanks for the reply.
BTW The files were 44.1 and 24 bit.
I restarted my computer this morning and the “delete” key works fine. Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
