Hey, guys! I am a happy owner of Icon P1 Nano and D5 display, has anyone tried to write a Midi Remote script for this device?
How have I never heard of this thing? It looks incredible for the price. It’d be a huge pain in the butt to program a midi remote script for though I bet.
It’s a new device! Fantastic! But it’s on the Mackie Control protocol, and the only thing that’s stressful is having to manually switch track banks, 8 track banks at a time.
Are you using it with Cubase 13? I’m considering buying it, but haven’t seen many reviews as yet.

If poss, would you mind sharing your opinions on using the Nano with Cubase - I live in a rural area, nearest decent music shop to try one out is over 100 miles away

There is a script available via the icon website. I’ve just started using it but I got confused so I’ve switched back to Mackie control mode until I can work it out for myself. The problem with the publicly available scripts is that they cannot be edited (locked) on the whole which is really frustrating.
hI , i TOO have the P1 nano and I am currently using both the Mackie control and a midi remote script on DAW 1 and THe bjoluc script on DAW 3 at the same time.
I can switch between the 2.
Although there is no surface editor for the bjoluc script you can add mapping pages,
It is far from perfect but you can add some functions that are missing.
The control room and the filter section of tracks/channels are missing from the Mackie control protocol.
i have set up a mapping page for control room settings and with the Bjoluc script it feeds back the value to the D5 display.
I have created my own script for the control room with the surface editor in Cubase but I get no visual feedback on the D5 display
Note, The Bjoluc script does not include the footswitches if you use those.
Note. you have to load the Bjoluc, Mcu midi remote.daw map in the Icon I map program
right click to add daw map
