Iconica Opus / dynamics of sustain instruments

With Iconica Opus in Dorico Pro 5, can I use the dynamic marking in Dorico (e.g. mp) to provide a constant sustain volume for instruments (e.g. “Violins 1 Standard” on Sustain mode)? How?

I understand the volume of sustain instruments in Halion is usually determined solely by the “Modulation” (MIDI?) parameter.

To my shame, I’ve never actually used the full Iconica Opus sounds myself, so I don’t have any first-hand experience with them, but I believe that they, like the Iconica Sketch sounds included with Dorico, use MIDI CC1 (modulation) for dynamics, so the first thing I would try is setting the Ex. map menu in the Routing section of the Track Inspector in Play mode to CC1 Dynamics.

@John_at_Steinberg would probably know. Didn’t he create some Expression Maps for Iconica when it first came out?
